Why You Need to Understand Value Before Anything Else

Over the past two weeks I’ve focused a lot of attention towards researching and reading a lot more books on value and the concept of building your individual self into a more powerful person. Well, the concepts and information that I’ve been learning about, has really assisted me a lot over the past two weeks as I’ve fallen into a trap of no motivation, lack of growth, and sometimes the wonder less thoughts of “what’s next”?

You see my love of digital marketing has dropped off in some areas. When I first came into this industry, I did it only for the money you see. Wanting to build a successful online company, and working from anywhere I wanted too. Well, yeah that is all over with for me. The value of that no longer sparks my drive in life anymore. I took money out of the equation, I took products out of the equation, and I focused on what value am I adding to my life first and to someone else’s life second.

To be honest with all of you I wasn’t that happy with how my life was going. It seemed like I was going in a downward spiral of nothing over the past couple of months. Not looking out for myself, not treating myself right, and building hopes and dreams on no solid foundation. I had NO VALUE!

You see that’s the huge issue with a lot of today’s business people. They offer no value first.

Now, this is no post bashing on any person, but the ideas on what needs to happen if you want to become a successful business person. You have to realize that the value that you add in your life both personal and professional has to come from the heart. You have to think to yourself first what I am going to add to someone else’s life to make sure my life grow more. The little brother big brother mentality has to come into place or you’re not going to grow whatsoever. I know we all fall into that mindset of monetization and creating products and services that will hopefully bring in 7 figures in one year,  but what we don’t do is align that money up against how many people are we going to help.

How many times are we going to reach out to a person and ask them “How are you doing today” and genuinely listen to them?

You see it’s more than money. It’s more than growing your Facebook page, Twitter followers, and blog comments; it’s about looking out for the person that you don’t know yet. Looking out for that person that you want to see succeed even if they don’t buy any of your products or opt into your email list.

That’s where I’m at right now.

I got to the point now in my life where I want to add value in someone else’s life. I want to focus my attention on not just business but relationships. Quality relationships that will bring in friendships that will past the worst of times and see great moments each day.

This past weekend I made the decision to join the 90 day fitness challenge. Where over the next 90 days I’m going to increase my muscle mass by 7 pounds, go on a 10 mile bike ride, and learn more about nutrition. I have no one goal but a combination of things I want to learn. During this journey I want to build new friendships with people that want to add as much value into my life as I want to add into theirs.

Below is a picture of day 1 of me:

90 day fitness challenge

I decided that the value I want to add to someone else is helping them become financially fit in their lives and also healthy fit all around; combining two things into one. These are my passions I’ve always loved to do. I love fitness and I love helping others and this is what I wanted to do.

Some of my friends have joined me and I still want more people to join me as I transform my life and meet more people that want to do more with their life. People that looking to take away the idea of business first and place that with value. What value are you adding right now?

That’s the question you need to be asking yourself, because without a healthy mind and body you can’t grow anything. Online or offline!

I want my community of people to join me today on this challenge to add value. To want to do more than what your already doing and to change not just your body but your mind. Right now I’m in the process of changing everything from my financial life to my business life by adding value first.

I will be sharing my thoughts and experiences with everyone on my blog and also the decision I’ve made in business too.

Hmm, I just wrote a post about increasing your worth and the way to do that is add value to your life. I guess we have been thinking about the same things lately. I definitely agree with your points here, and this is something I'm currently pursuing as well.

@Justicewordlaw Oh, this is so exciting! And I'm actually watching your Passive Income video right now and LOVING the idea. The reason is that I do the business that is based of residual income. I would honestly love to get your opinion on my business, cause you always have a great insight and vision on things like that... Can I possibly talk to you via email about that?
